I really like these mixed media pieces by camrose ducote. They feel so modern and referential to the materials and colors of our time. I find myself thinking of concrete and tarmac, cities and skyscrapers, with a little graffiti thrown in for good measure. But regardless of their inspirational origins they're just so beautiful as layered, storied pieces of art.
